Life is in the Eternal Light

Lights are a brand, trademark, or symbol of Christmas and the holiday season. The

glorious heavenly host of angels pointed the poor shepherds to the manger. The

star of Bethlehem led the wise men to the cradle of the newborn King. But those

particular lights are not what ultimately illuminates our hearts, brightens our

minds, and radiates in our souls.

The Christmas season shines its spotlight on our souls because Jesus is The Light.

He is the source of all lights and the Light of the World. Jesus came to earth to

give us THE LIGHT OF LIFE. His Light guides us to Eternal Life. John 1:4-5 NIV In

him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The Light of Jesus shines

in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

The darkness of sin cannot overcome the salvation provided in His Light. When

you follow Jesus, you are never alone. So, we must choose to follow Jesus’s LIGHT

for only it will lead to Eternal LIFE.
